How to apply make up effectively?

How to apply make up effectively??? I believe applying or using make ups started since ages. However, in my case I never really learn to apply make up not till I graduated from college. In fact, till today I still don't know how to apply my own make up. I'm so crazy about make up, and I simply regard those women in television where they are fully made-up beautifully.

But, I think it differs a lot, when you are only using cheap foundation, eye-liner, blush on and etc. Isn't it??? If your set of make-ups are cheap and expect cheap results as well.

However, I couldn't think enough of spending so much money in expensive make ups. But, I did, yet, I can't still do my make up as good as those experts do. Whew!!!
